Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. Job Boards for Financial Planners

Here are some helpful places to start your search for a job in Financial Planning.

Job Boards

Sometimes expanding your network can help you find a job as well. If you have a mentor, start by asking them what groups you could join, or who they could introduce you to. To build your network, check out these Facebook groups:

  • Females and Finance

  • FinCon Community

  • FPA Activate

  • XY Planning Network

  • Financial Therapy Association

Your local Financial Planning Association (FPA)'s meetups and events are a great place to start meeting local Financial Planners in your area. These are announced to members based on the chapter (location) you are in. Reach out to your local chapter's NexGen Director (that's me if you're in Georgia) or the President of the Board.

Alumni Associations

Your alumni association could have a job board as well. Be sure to check, but I wouldn't expect many Financial Planning jobs to be listed.
